Um, does it have your name on it?

Ok so I've never felt more like an animal in my life than I do now. I feel like I'm living in this jungle called "an apartment" and were all trying to salvage and save whatever we have. If any of you don't know the rule, anything and everything you buy must be sharpied! When I say sharpied I mean your ketchup better have your name written in dark sharpie so you are clearly able to read the name on it or it's free range. It's very funny to open the fridge and see everything with everyone's name's on it. It'll be weird going home and opening the fridge and getting to choose whatever my little heart desires.

Hahahahahah! I had to do all that when I was in the dorms... I'm in an apartment now with my best friend. We're too close to worry about what belongs to who, so we just have an unwritten code of honor for sharing.

Are you with friends or with random people?

I also remember having to put a line on the milk jug or soda bottle cuz some of my roomies would sneak some and it would be below the line. We all had to do that. It seems really weird now. What fond memories. Ha ha!!!

ha ha! I totally can relate. I had to do the exact same thing with my roommates. In fact, I had a roommate that would always drink water and kept a gallon of it in the fridge all the time... so just as a joke I filled it with clear kool-aid. (It didn't turn out to be funny at all.. she was SO furious.) I learned you don't mess with anyone's food!!!

OOOh this kinda sounds like my fridge rules at Adora Bella when i was a assistant. I actually made the rules so I could eat unmarked food, thats the best part.....when somebody forgets to mark!

Lex, your blog is going to remind me of everything about Ricks. Make me feel old thanks.

Question: Why does the marking-food-with-a-sharpie rule work when you are in college, but when I write my name on the box of doughnuts John eats them anyway?
